Documented financial activity: originator of three $50,000 payments (2015-01-28, 2015-02-06, 2015-04-22) to a single redacted beneficiary, via Deutsche Bank Trust Co Americas, per Exhibit 149, USVI v. JPMorgan, 1:22-cv-10904-JSR Doc 285-32 (filed 2023-08-15). PRIORITY for USVI registry verification.

AG COMPLAINT paras 97-98: 'a trust created for the benefit of numerous persons who performed work for Epstein, including numerous young women with Eastern European surnames AND ALSO INCLUDING INDYKE AND KAHN THEMSELVES.' Both were authorized signatories on the trust's checking account. They 'signed trust checks for combined value of over $1,000,000 made out personally to young women, or their associated entities, who IN SOME INSTANCES WERE NOT BENEFICIARIES OF THE TRUST.' Connects to Exhibit 149 (USVI v. JPMorgan), where Butterfly Trust is the originator of three $50,000 payments in 2015 to a single redacted beneficiary. ALLEGATIONS.

USVI NEGATIVE 2026-09-08: explicit 'No Butterfly Trust' result on a header search — expected for a trust (trusts do not register). Documented instead via bank records (Exhibit 149, USVI v. JPMorgan: three $50,000 payments in 2015 to a single redacted beneficiary via Deutsche Bank).

DFS CORROBORATION (added 2026-09-10, second independent public source): The New York DFS consent order against Deutsche Bank (ea20200706, July 7 2020) independently documents the Butterfly Trust as a payment conduit: DFS found over 120 wires totaling roughly $2.65 million to beneficiaries of the Butterfly Trust, including some transfers to individuals the order describes as alleged co-conspirators, alongside wires for hotel, tuition and rent (paras 28, 31). This is a bank regulator's finding, reached separately from the USVI AG complaint (paras 97-98) and Exhibit 149 already recorded above, and corroborates the trust's role as a payment mechanism. Recipients are not named. Source: NY DFS Consent Order ea20200706 (dfs.ny.gov).
