SAC para 31 (USVI v. JPMorgan, Doc 119, filed 2023-04-12): 'Epstein's lawyer, Darren K. Indyke, and accountant, Richard Kahn, now the Co-Executors of Epstein's Estate, authorized or directed many of the transactions in JP Morgan accounts held by Epstein or related entities,' citing USVI v. Indyke, ST-20-CV-14 paras 8-10, 76-117. ALLEGATION, not a finding.

DELAWARE NEGATIVE 2026-09-06: no 'Southern Financial LLC' in the DE name index. Twelve unrelated Southern Financial entities exist; none match. Given that the same source wrongly placed Southern Trust in Delaware, treat this row's Delaware attribution as unverified.

DE 2026-09-08 (phone sweep): a DE 'Southern Financial' name search returns 13 entities, NONE exactly 'Southern Financial, LLC' (all a generic Southern-Financial family — Group, Corp, Capital Trust, Services, etc., unrelated). This entity is subpoena-named (real Epstein entity) with Indyke/Kahn officers of record, but its own registration is NOT in DE under this exact name — like the other Epstein 'Southern' entities (Southern Trust Company), it is most likely USVI. DE-negative for the exact match; next: USVI registry. Registration unresolved, stays unverified.

*** RESOLVED & VERIFIED 2026-09-08. Southern Financial is a VIRGIN ISLANDS entity, NOT Delaware: USVI registry file 583164, registered 2013-02-25, agent BUSINESS BASICS VI, LLC. This closes the DE-negative dead end above (the 13 DE 'Southern Financial' hits were an unrelated family) — the same pattern as its parent Southern Trust Company, which was also wrongly attributed to DE by secondary sources and is in fact VI. Jurisdiction corrected DE->VI. Named in the USVI 'Epstein Entities' subpoena definition; sub of Southern Trust.

DEUTSCHE BANK KYC (added 2026-09-10): Deutsche Bank due-diligence/KYC record (dbforce Salesforce, Case 01082293) lists Jeffrey Epstein as PRESIDENT of Southern Financial LLC; business address 6100 Red Hook Quarter B3, St. Thomas 00802 USVI; legal/other address Litte Saint James, USVI. Primary corporate-capacity record from the federal production, Bates EFTA01365199.

DEUTSCHE BANK PENALIZED (added 2026-09-10, surgical strike, primary public source): Southern Financial LLC's bank, Deutsche Bank, was fined $150 million by the New York Department of Financial Services on July 7, 2020 over its handling of Jeffrey Epstein's accounts. In the consent order DFS found the bank 'inexcusably failed to detect or prevent millions of dollars of suspicious transactions,' including payments to individuals publicly alleged to be Epstein co-conspirators, over $6 million to law firms for legal costs, over $7 million in settlement payments, payments for tuition, hotel and rent, and more than $800,000 in cash withdrawals over roughly four years. NY DFS Superintendent Lacewell: 'Banks are the first line of defense with respect to preventing the facilitation of crime through the financial system.' Unlike a no-admission settlement, this is a signed regulatory consent order. Source: NY DFS (dfs.ny.gov), Consent Order ea20200706, July 7, 2020.

DFS ORDER - SPECIFIC FINDINGS (added 2026-09-10, primary public source, paragraph cites): Beyond the headline penalty, the DFS consent order details the transaction pattern its investigators found in Epstein's Deutsche Bank accounts: at least 18 wires of $10,000 or more to alleged co-conspirators (para 27); over 120 wires totaling roughly $2.65 million to beneficiaries of the Butterfly Trust, some to alleged co-conspirators, plus wires for hotel, tuition and rent (paras 28, 31); settlement payments of over $7 million to law firms and dozens of further payments totaling over $6 million for what the order describes as the legal expenses of Epstein and co-conspirators (para 32); and, when compliance queried transfers to accounts of women with Eastern European surnames at a Russian bank, the recorded explanation was that the money was a friend's school tuition (para 46). The order also documents that the account was opened in April 2013 with an onboarding memo noting Epstein's 2007-08 solicitation charge and the 13 of 18 months he served, yet the relationship was approved on the strength of projected revenue of roughly $2-4 million a year, an executive writing they could proceed so long as nothing further surfaced through KYC/AML review (paras 20-22). Regulatory FINDINGS in a signed consent order (not mere allegations); recipients are described by the order only as alleged co-conspirators and are not named here.
